Laborrelated Song of the Week: Sixteen Tons

Late last year, Willie Nelson put out a record Remember Me Vol. 1 where he covered some great old songs.  Among them is Sixteen Tons, a coal miner's song.  The song touches on an historical labor and employment issue: the truck system and debt bondage.  It also features a word, "straw boss" that you still hear from time to time  in labor and employment cases.  It's often a critical issue of whether the somebody is a boss or a straw boss (although it's not an issue in the song). The song has been covered by many, but I think Willie's version is the best.
